Thank you for your interest in this year’s Cosmic Walk on Sunday 7th June 2026! This year we will be starting our walk at Norfolk Square Garden in Paddington and finishing at Hilton London Metropole Hotel for:

• A wonderful party, with delicious refreshments and drinks.
• Fantastic entertainment featuring the Tony Macaroni magic show, balloon modelling, face-painting, bouncy castle, a temporary tattoo parlour, a Pat’s Pats jewellery-making table, and lots, lots more!

Cosmic Walk is a wonderful opportunity for the families and friends of St Mary’s Hospital and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital to come together and celebrate our incredible babies’ and children’s intensive care units and all of the amazing staff who work there.

It’s around 5km in total and is buggy and wheelchair friendly (and no hills!) to make it as inclusive as possible.

By purchasing tickets, you will be helping us to support babies and children in intensive care, their families, and the staff who care for them. You will also be given the opportunity to make a donation, which we would be so grateful for.

Your ticket price covers the cost of putting on this event — but the real magic happens when you fundraise. Every pound you raise goes directly towards the vital services Cosmic provides to families with babies and children in intensive care, and we can only continue this work with your support.

To give you a sense of the difference your fundraising can make, here’s what your donations could cover:

£40 – covers the cost to purchase and top up an Oyster Card for families who need additional financial support to be able to visit the units, without the financial worries of travel expenses.

£70 – covers the cost of a week’s supply of food and drinks for our Nutri-Care project for a family whose child or baby is being cared for on one of our units.

£150 – covers the cost of a massage day for one of our intensive care units, enabling nurses to receive, relax and recharge for a time amongst the busyness of their roles.

£500 – covers the cost of 75 gift bags for parents who are spending significant dates on the units with their children, such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, or Christmas Day.

£1,500 – covers the cost for two weeks of one of our Family Liaison Nurses as they support parents’ post discharge, as they assess the family’s wellbeing and provide ongoing referrals for counselling where needed.

£3,000 – covers the cost of running Cosmic House for two weeks, ensuring that families have a safe place to stay which is within easy access to the units where their child is receiving care.
