COSMIC has launched a viral video in partnership with UKTV, their charity of the year partner 2014. The video aims to raise awareness of the charity and support fundraising to help save the lives of critically ill children.
The film produced by The Project Factory UK and funded entirely by UKTV’s Innovation Pot initiative, is offered as an alternative to the traditional sombre charity video. The campaign aims to bring a few smiles and giggles whilst highlighting the important work of the Children’s Intensive Care unit, and COSMIC. The video also features children from the two local primary schools Paddington Green Primary School, and West Acton Primary School, alongside past patients. Watch it here: http://ow.ly/HeDqa
Fay Ripley said “COSMIC supports critically ill children and their families by providing lifesaving state-of-the-art equipment and emotional and practical support to the families going through one of the worst times of their lives. Help give a child a COSMIC life by sharing their heartwarming video”
Vicky Rees, COSMIC Fundraising Manager added “Children’s intensive care can be difficult subject to discuss, but we wanted a video that would highlight the work COSMIC does in a very approachable and memorable way, whilst engaging our local community - and this video certainly delivers that.”
